Principal Consultant – Damian Smith
Damian brings a wealth of experience in strategy and negotiation, domestic and international omni-channel logistics, process improvement and resource optimisation.
With over twenty years proficiency, an entrepreneurial outlook on business design, development and promotion, his customer focus and exacting execution deliver exceptional results from initial plan through to project completion.
His depth of knowledge was recently called upon to address an industry engagement as keynote speaker on supply chain complexities and solutions.
Prior to his current role as Director at Aggregator, Damian contracted as a management consultant leading the transition of a large corporate agricultural concern to develop latent assets and monetise their national logistics footprint.
More recently Damian was tasked with consolidating and transitioning the complimentary assets, infrastructure and personnel of an importer, and wholesale distribution business into a market leading national transport company.
Preceding this, Damian, as sole Director, built a multi-million dollar start up logistics venture servicing local, interstate and international markets before successfully selling the enterprise. Damian has also developed and managed a commercial property portfolio spanning office, rural and industrial real estate.
Having worked in the corporate sector and owned and operated a highly profitable SME, Damian brings significant insight in the analysis of business models of all sizes and their competitive environments, particularly in the Australian logistics industry.
Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Monash Business School.
- Executive Certificate in Business from Monash Business School.
